Monthly Feedlot Update

Every two weeks the team weighs the feedlot calves and replacement heifers at Mann Valley Farm. Around 4 members of the team, including the feedlot chair, run the 30 head through the chute to collect weights and ensure all the calves are gaining at a healthy rate. Before returning them back to their pens we walk through the groups to ensure a healthy herd. The majority of these calves are Black Angus, Hereford, Simmental, and Commercial.
